Concentric & Eccentric Reducer
Type The Proco concentric and eccentric rubber expansion joints serve as a reducing element to transition from one pipe size to another and are most commonly found in tough demanding applications such as: Chemical/Petrochemical and Industrial Process Piping Systems, Power Generating Plants, Steel Mills, Pulp & Paper Mills, etc.....Our Series RC and RE products are manufactured and inventoried in Butyl & Neoprene elastomers to meet chemical, heat or abrasive conditions and can be special made from other elastomers such as EPDM, Hypalon®, FDA Nitrile, Nitrile and Natural Rubber. In stock sizes range from 2"ID X 1"ID to 18"ID X 16"ID and are available for immediate shipment. Proco inventories all sizes as listed in the Fluid Sealing Association (FSA) Standards and have additional sizes that we have come to know as standards. Additional Features and Benefits: Less system installation space is required when using a Series RC or Series RE over a metal reducer and valves or other equipment can be more conveniently located. In addition, our reducers are smaller and weigh less than metal reducers lower overall installation costs. The Series RC & Series RE rubber expansion joints are available with filled arches where heavy solids, such as scrubber slurries or sludge, may otherwise become entrapped in an open arch cavity. RC & RE products can be customized to meet our customers' specifications, built-in offsets, various overall lengths and customer dictated drilling patterns. The Series RC & Series RE reducing rubber expansion joints have a built in "O-Ring" on each flange face for a better seal with less torque at installation resulting in less long term maintenance requirements. *Hypalon® and Viton® are registered trademarks of DuPont Dow Elastomers L.L.C.
