FEP Lined Rubber Expansion Joints

The Proco spool type (hand built) FEP lined rubber expansion joints are designed for tough demanding corrosive chemical applications as found in: High pH or Low pH Industrial Process Piping Applications and Acid Plant Piping Systems in Chemical/Petrochemical, Power Generating Plants, Pulp & Paper Mills and Steel Mills. Our Series FEP are designed to handle practically every highly chemically corrosive application. The Series FEP products are manufactured and inventoried with a Butyl cover and a molded FEP liner. In stock sizes range from 1" ID to 14" ID and are available for immediate shipment. Ask for a Proco Style 221/BT for your highly corrosive chemical piping applications! Proco can also manufacture larger diameter FEP lined rubber expansion joints with varying over all lengths (OAL). Manufactured to specification, sizes range from 1" ID to 48" ID. Additional Features and Benefits:

The exclusive FEP liner is precision molded, seamless and extends through the expansion joint body to the outer edge of both flange faces. The results are less turbulence due to a 90 degree angle between the flange and the body of the expansion joint and there is less chance of leaking/weeping at the flange holes cutting off any chance of failure to the expansion joint cover. In addition, the exclusive FEP liner is bonded to the expansion joint body to resist vacuum of any piping system.

A better alternative to exotic metallic expansion joints or teflon lined metallic expansion joints. Engineered to operate up to 200 PSIG and 200 degrees F, the Series FEP, Style 221/BT prevent electrolysis and electrolytic action due to dissimilar metals in a piping systems and also absorb vibration, shock & noise that are commonly transmitted by mechanical equipment or fluid flow.
