Threaded Metal/Spherical Rubber Connectors

The Proco threaded metal/rubber twin spherical rubber connectors are designed for supply/distribution pipeline service applications and are commonly found in: HVAC Hot Water and Chiller Piping Systems. The Series 315 products provide limited flexibility and are optimal for noise/vibration reduction in HVAC Piping Systems. Proco's threaded metal/rubber connectors are manufactured and inventoried in sizes ranging from 3/4" ID through 3" ID and are available for immediate shipment and come in a variety of elastomers such as Butyl, EPDM, Hypalon®, Neoprene and Nitrile.

The Series 315 are available in:

Style 315 (precision molded to a true double sphere based upon the pipe size for optimum noise/vibration absorption).

Style 315-A (spherical shape is slightly modified to accommodate an 8" over all length for ease of installation).

Style 315-HP (designed for high pressure applications up to 250 PSIG design).

Each Style 315 is designed with a ductile iron stabilizing ring to eliminate ballooning of the double sphere due to over pressurization of the system.

Each Style 315 is included with control cables to eliminate over extension of the unit during operation. NOTE: Most piping systems that use the Series 315 products are not anchored. The Proco control cables keep the beaded rubber flange from separating from the female threaded end thus preventing
premature failure.
