Series 230
Spool Type Rubber Expansion Joints
The Proco spool type (HAND BUILT) wide arch rubber expansion joints are most commonly found in tough demanding applications as found in: Chemical/Petrochemical and Industrial Process Piping Systems, Power Generating Plants, Steel Mills, Pulp & Paper Mills, etc. Our Series 230 products are manufactured and inventoried in single (Style 231), double (Style 232) and triple (Style 233) arch configurations and come in a variety of elastomers such as Butyl, EPDM, Hypalon®, Neoprene, Nitrile, Natural Rubber and Viton® to meet chemical or abrasive service conditions.
In stock sizes range from 1" ID to 72" ID and are available for immediate shipment.

In addition to stocking to 72" ID, Proco can also design and manufacture rubber expansion joints from 72" ID to 144" ID (commonly found in Power Generating Plants on Circ Water Lines).
Series 230 expansion joints are available with filled arches in single (Style FA231), double (Style FA232) or triple (Style FA233) arches where heavy solids, such as scrubber slurries or sludge, may otherwise become entrapped in an open arch cavity.
The most customizable of all products, the Series 230 can be manufactured to meet any customer requirement. Multiple arches, built-in offsets, various over all lengths and customer dictated drilling patterns. These items can be available in Proco's Series 230, Style 151.
Proco's rubber expansion joints meet US Coast Guard/Navy standards. Specify Proco Series 230, Style 151 (Neoprene) to meet ASTM F-1123-87. Specify Proco Series 230, Style N190A (Neoprene) to meet Mil-E-15330D Class A, Type 1 for the Navy.
The Series 230 spool type wide arch rubber expansion joints have a built-in "o-ring" on each flange face for a better seal with less torque at installation and less long term maintenance requirements.
